I know from experience, it's hard to let go of your past relationships. That's why many people will try to reunite with their ex after a break up. That's why you'll need to decide if you want to break up or make up.
While this is your decision, everyone in your life will have their opinions. Some may give subtle hints and others may be more vocal. However, ultimately the decision is yours.
What makes it difficult for you, is the emotional investment you still have in your relationship. That's why you should wait. Do some healing first. Go through the emotional stages of a break up and then decide what you want.
When you no longer have the emotional attachment to your ex, you can see your past relationship more clearly. This will allow you to make a better "make up or break up" decision.
